Welcome to the Fishing Reoprts page. We will update these reports throughout the season as much as we can.
We got out this weekend on the Snake and saw mixed results. Numbers we not the best but the fish that did make to hand were large and healthy! Sunny and windy conditions kept us below the surface with streamers and nymphs for most of Friday and Saturday, however there was some midge activity both days. We got reports of good dry fly action on midges and BWO’s on Sunday afternoon!
This is a great time of year to fish the Snake here in Jackson Hole and it’s tributaries. Don’t feel like you need to get out there at the crack of dawn…stay in bed, read the paper and enjoy a morning around town before you head out. The best action of the day will be between 1pm and 5pm. Nymphing and “chuck and duck” techniques should produce some fish in the late morning if you are looking for a longer day on the river.
Check back soon for updated reports on the Jackson Hole fisheries and our surrounding waters.
Cheers,
Andy
